Your Journey Begins Here
I created The Food Forest Mastery full course after watching degenerative maintenance companies gaining the trust of homeowners but degrading
their landscapes in a dependency cycle that drained both their money and their landscape in dangerous ways.
I saw a total lack of education or understanding and even interest in
landscape health and ecology from those service providers. I knew I could show homeowners an ecological landscape approach that would not only transform their properties but also save them money they were throwing away.
And that’s what led me to create Food Forest Mastery, the only online permaculture course that guides you to put permaculture to use to achieve food independence and have a real influence on sustainability. And not JUST that but without making expensive mistakes.
72 - HOUR SALE!
This course allows homeowners to exit the endless cycle of degenerative landscape maintenance dependency and enter a regenerative cycle that
heals and restarts their landscape’s natural climb toward climax ecosystem, affecting the local, regional, and biospheric climate, air quality, food availability, water quality, habitat, and connectedness/community.

A Place To Relax and Host Friends
A retired widow didn't need to do a lot of maintenance because of the right landscaping..
A Family Reconnects
This family had issues with drainage throughout their back yard. The space felt disconnected from the house and garage, and they weren't using their yard because of this. The kids didn't have any structured area in which to play, and their parents worried about their safety because of the lack of visibility from the house.
After unifying their landscape, the kids had fun play areas closer to the house and a comfortable new patio so that mom and dad could keep an eye out, permeable paving and regrading handled the drainage issue, and they started gathering outdoors more to hang out and entertain friends.
From Dangerous Erosion
to Usable Space
This large suburban lot sat on a steep slope, and the mid-fifties parents of three teenage boys needed a place for them to play and outdoor space to entertain their own friends. They could see directly into their neighbor's
yard below them, and they didn't know what to do with the handful of scraggly saplings growing against their fence.
By following the course and utilizing the weekly office hours to brainstorm and ask questions, they turned the storm water issue eroding their land into free irrigation for terrace gardens, created a patio under a previously disconnected balcony, and incorporated animal enclosures, leafy living privacy screens, and a climbing wall for dad.
Making Up For A Small Home
An architect and urban planner needed outdoor living space, so they used the Food Forest Mastery training to transform their drivewa.
A redwood trellis supported edible perennial vines and defined a breakfast area, while breaking up the concrete driveway allowed them to create a permeable patio that looked as good as flagstone. Old wine barrels stored rain water and offered a fun way to irrigate during the summer months.
The added privacy from the street encouraged them to spend more time outside, and the overall project added curb appeal and value to their first home.
